RAW Clinic

Privacy Policy

Introduction

Welcome to RAW Clinic. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Data Collection

RAW Clinic does not send your photos, edits, or location to servers we control. Photo processing stays on your device. If you opt in to analytics, the app sends anonymous product events to Google as described under Third-Party Services.

Photo Access

RAW Clinic requires access to your photo library to:

  • Load RAW photo files for editing
  • Save edited photos back to your library

All photo processing happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server or shared with third parties by the App.

Camera

If you use the in-app camera, RAW Clinic may request access to your device camera to capture photos in RAW format. Captured images are processed and stored on your device like any other photo you edit in the App. We do not receive copies of images you capture.

Location

RAW Clinic may request access to your device location only to write geographic coordinates into the metadata of photos you capture with the built-in in-app camera when you save those photos (for example, EXIF or equivalent embedded location fields). Location is not used for advertising, analytics, background tracking, or any purpose other than optional geotagging of photos you take in the App. Coordinates remain in the saved image file on your device unless you later share that file yourself through other means outside the App.

Data Storage

The app may store:

  • User preferences (such as language selection)
  • Temporary editing data while you work on a photo

Photos, preferences, and editing data stay on your device. If you opt in to analytics, anonymous product events are sent to Google as described under Third-Party Services; you can turn that off in Settings.

Third-Party Services

RAW Clinic may send anonymous product analytics to Google Analytics (Firebase) only after you opt in — on the first-run screen or later in Settings. Events describe in-app actions as coarse categories (screens, exports, LUT use, look import). They do not include photos, file names, EXIF, GPS, look-link tokens, or advertising identifiers. We do not use this data for ads, we do not sell it, Google Signals is not enabled, and we do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT). You can turn analytics off anytime in Settings. Google may process these events in the United States under Google's privacy policy.

This website

The sections above describe the iOS app. This website is separate and run by a solo developer. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous analytics only — to make the site and apps better: pages viewed, referrer and campaign (including UTM parameters), approximate geography and device, and clicks through to the App Store. We do not use analytics for advertising, we do not sell this data, and Google Signals is not enabled.

Cookies we may set:

  • Necessary — your analytics choice (rc_consent, 6 months), shared across akapps.click sites. A landing-page experiment cookie may also be set when that test is running.
  • Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, only after you accept. Google may process this data in the United States under Google's privacy policy.

You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie banner, or change your choice later via Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not affect the app or the rest of the site.

iCloud

If you use iCloud Photos, the app may access photos stored in iCloud through Apple's standard PhotoKit framework. This is handled entirely by Apple's systems, and we do not have access to your iCloud credentials or data.

Children's Privacy

RAW Clinic is suitable for all ages. We do not create accounts or collect photos from children. Optional analytics, if enabled, is the same anonymous product events described under Third-Party Services and can be turned off in Settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your Rights

There is no cloud account to access or delete. You control photos, camera, and location in iOS Settings. If you enabled analytics, you can turn it off in the app Settings; that stops further events. Google may already have processed events sent while analytics was on, under their policy.
